Gas engines in continuous operations/cogeneration plants

The especially low-emission, 4-stroke Otto gas engines are veritable bundles of energy. MAN has them both as 4 and 6-cylinder in-line engines and also has the charged12-cylinder V engine in its program, with ratings of 37 kW to 420 kW. MAN gas engines offer manufacturers and operators of cogeneration plants in particular a whole host of benefits: They are robust and compact, very reliable and highly economical whilst offering a good price/performance ratio.

  • Heat quantities for cooling water and exhaust: Usage levels of up to 90% of primary energy can be obtained in cogeneration plants. The absolute amount of heat energy which can be used individually depends on the technical conception of the entire system. Concrete information on the heat balance is possible thanks to our technical documents relating to each individual project.
