Sven von Saalfeld
is President and CEO with responsibility for North American
Sales and Operations.
He joined MAN in Germany in 1972 as a Research
Engineer with a German Masters Degree. He then became Head of the “Service,
Parts and Technical Documentation Department” at the time when MAN built
Transit Buses in North Carolina from 1979 to 1989. In 1989 he returned to
Germany to head one of MAN’s “Truck & Bus Sales Outlet’s” for almost 10 years.
At the end of 1998 he assumed responsibility for “MAN Engines & Components
Inc.” in Pompano Beach, FL as President & CEO.
With
his 17 years of experience with MAN, in the North American Market, he has been
able to guide the company toward the highest possible degree of customer
satisfaction in all areas of activities. |

Max Heller
our
CFO joined
MEC in October 2006.
Before joining our company Max worked with globally leading public
accounting firms PricewaterhouseCoopers and Grant Thornton as well as in
industry in the United States and Germany.
Max
holds an MBA degree as well as the German Diplom-Kaufmann Master degree with
concentration in Finance. In addition, he is licensed as Certified Public
Accountant (CPA) in the United States.
Max
is responsible for the Finance & Accounting, Human Resources and Corporate
Administration functions within our company. |

David Stevens
is the Company's Information Systems Manager.
After completing 20 years of
active service in the U.S. Army in 1987, David went to work for MAN at Ft.
Sill Oklahoma in support of the Army’s CAT II tactical military trucks built
by MAN. In 1994 he and his family moved to south Florida in order to become a
member of MAN Engines & Components Inc. David brought a vast amount of
automotive knowledge and managerial experience to the MEC team. Over the past
14 years with MEC David has conducted more than 45 Maintenance Courses training almost
300 technicians.
Because of his demonstrated
abilities in the use and maintenance of computers and related equipment, David
became the Information Systems Manager and was given the responsibility for the company’s telecommunications systems including the implementation,
maintenance and development of the Local area network, web-site, and intranet. |

Gilbert Cauvin
Gilbert
entered the boating industry in 1970, working for boat dealers in France,
Sweden and Norway. In 1975, He moved to the United States to direct a
diesel training program for a major engine distributor. From 1981 to
1998, Gilbert managed International sales and marketing for Latin America, the
Caribbean, the Middle East, and Africa.
Gilbert has become one of the industry's most seasoned and creative export
marketers. MEC welcomed Gilbert in February 2005 as our Marine
Engine Sales Manager. |

Clark Bruening
is the Director of Sales
Support & Marine Service.
Following his military service which
concluded in 1973, Clark acquired over thirty years experience with a number
of large manufacturing companies such as Bendix Avionic, TRW and Crane
Controls before joining MAN Engines and Components. Clark’s work experiences
which include engine electronics technician, applications engineer, sales and
customer service make him well suited for his position as Director of Service
and Administration. |

Dan Macri
is the
Marine Service Manager
Educated at Florida State University, Dan has been in the marine business
since 1987. He has been a licensed Captain for 16 years with a Marine
Propulsion Certificate from Florida Keys Community College. Dan joined
the MEC Team in August, 2002.

Hakan Urkmez is the Marine Engine Prep Manager .
Hakan has been with MEC since January 1999.
He has been with the Marine Engine Prep Team since its inception and was
instrumental in its setup and organization. As Manager, he looks
forward to continuing the development of the team by finding ways to become
even more efficient in the preparation of our MAN Marine Diesel Engines.
Quality and customer satisfaction are first and foremost on his priority
list.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hakan has
continued his education through hands-on experience in the marine engine
field. His knowledge and proficiency in the preparation of our marine
engine packages is
a tremendous asset,
which will prove to be invaluable in the future growth of MAN Engines &
Components Inc.

Tom Baurmann
is Director, Automotive Division, with
responsibilities for Sales, Service, and Production of axles.
Before joining MAN in
September 2007, he worked for 10 years at ThyssenKrupp Automotive, gaining
experience in the automotive as well as commercial vehicle sector.
Tom holds a M.Sc. in
Material Science from the Technical University in Aachen, Germany, as well
as an MBA from Walsh College, Michigan.
Tom and his team continue
to strive towards highest customer satisfaction in all areas.

Heiner Falke
is a
Regional Sales Manager for MEC's Axles &
Automotive Division
Heiner
became a technical support manager
for MAN Engines and Components in July of 2001. He has extensive technical and
marketing experience in the automotive and telecommunication industries. His
education and varied experience in Germany gives him extensive knowledge of
German automotive engineering principals and marketing.
Because of his excellent sales and marketing
experience in Germany, he became a Regional Sales Manager for our axle
department in March 2002. |

Tanvir Rony Joined MAN in May 2008 as a Technical Support Engineer.
Rony
graduated from The University of Alabama with M.S. in Engineering Science
and Mechanics in 2005. He gained 3 years of extensive automotive industry
experience prior to joining MAN-MEC. As a Mechanical Engineer, Rony has
in-depth understanding on axle and engine systems. Rony lives in South
Florida with his wife, who happens to be a mechanical engineer as well, and
with their little daughter. |

Katalin Tanacs
Katalin joined MEC in August 2004. She is
the administrative manager for the Axles & Automotive Division, responsible
for purchasing, receiving and all other administrative support tasks. She also
coordinates the company's corporate travel arrangements. She has an extensive
legal and accounting background, having previously worked for Canadian and US
companies overseas. |
